The Delta School is an approved private school located in Northeast Philadelphia, serving students aged 5 – 21. Delta follows the Philadelphia curriculum, offers a small staff to student ratio, various enrichment programs and access to an array of services to address the social, emotional and academic needs of all of our students.
In order to be considered for admission to the Delta School, a child must be referred by their home school district which has approved placement in an Approved Private School through an I.E.P. A child must have an I.E.P. and must be referred by a school district. The school district will prepare a packet for submission to Delta once the student has been approved for the APS setting. Approval will be agreed upon by the I.E. P team and family. The school district and state also covers the cost of tuition, transportation and all related services outlined in a students’ I.E.P. There is no cost to the family. Admissions requests are accepted and processed any time throughout the year, including the summer.
